Bubble Coral-Large Frag

This is for a Bubble coral frag. 

Size: ~1.5-2.5+ inches when fully open, sizes and colors vary a bit.

Lighting: Low to Moderate lighting

Water flow: moderate water flow

Bubble Corals are considered an LPS coral from the Indo-Pacific region. This species is characterized by large, fleshy, bubble-like polyps. This is a stony coral with a hard skeleton. When this species first arrives it can take some time to open up fully while acclimating to your aquarium. This is a photosynthetic coral species but you can also target feed it meaty foods such as frozen Mysis shrimp a couple times a week. These are really stunning corals and nice additions to any reef tank.

It is important to give corals their own space in the aquarium. We recommend giving them at least 2-3+ inches of their own space so they do not sting or irritate other corals. This will also give them room to grow in the aquarium.

This coral variety is not considered safe to keep with our Captive Bred Seahorses!

We recommend using RODI water when mixing your saltwater. Corals can be sensitive to improper water quality.

Please note: Coral color and appearance varies. Differences in light, glass, water parameters, and many other factors can influence how a coral appears so it may appear different in your aquarium. Many coral species will "close up" during shipping and can take a day or up to a week or more to open. This is normal and expected when you receive them.
