Sale price Price $99.99 Regular price

This is for a single WYSIWYG Captive Spawned Orange Australian Scolymia Coral Colony, Scolymia australis. WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) means you will receive the exact specimen in the photo. This coral is captive spawned meaning it was sexually bred and produced in captivity. This is an exciting newer offering in our industry.

Size: ~1-1.5 inches

We are really excited to offer captive spawned and bred Australian Scolymia corals. They are gorgeous and really nice! This is a bright colored photosynthetic stony coral. This coral does best placed on the bottom of the aquarium in the sand or on a flat rock. They like being target feed pellet food, Mysis shrimp, ect. We recommend feeding them at least several times a week a variety of coral foods which can be pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, ect. They do not have a strong sting and can be kept with large species of captive bred seahorses including H. erectus. We recommend keeping them on the rock work in an area with a good amount of water flow. Give them their own space with at least a few inches around them so they are not touching other corals. These are stunning and a lot of fun to keep.

This coral variety is peaceful and considered safe with our larger species (not Dwarf seahorses) of seahorses.

We recommend using RODI water when mixing your saltwater. Corals can be sensitive to improper water quality.

Please note: Coral color and appearance varies. Differences in light, glass, water parameters, and many other factors can influence how a coral appears so it may appear different in your aquarium. Many coral species will "close up" during shipping and can take a day or up to a week or more to open. This is normal and expected when you receive them.
