This is for 12 Orange Claw Hermit crabs-Calcinus tibicen.-Amazing Algae eaters. Known for eating undesirable red algaes. You will love these stocky hermit crabs.

These are a bit larger and more stocky than other hermit crab species such as our Blue Leg hermit crabs. They are approximately 3/4-1.5 inches. Their shells are often covered in desirable purple coralline algae which can help seed the display tank. These are great scavengers and amazing algae eaters. They will eat leftover food and graze on algae in the aquarium. They are known for eating nuisance red algae in the aquarium. In a 30 gallon aquarium we recommend ~1-20 of these hermit crabs to give you a general stocking idea. They are safe to keep with our captive bred seahorses and very pretty! These also mix well with other hermit crabs.
