Aquarium Conditioned-Scott's Damselfish-Chrysiptera arnazae.
Scott's Damselfish are a hardy beginner fish with brilliant blue color and a bright yellow back half. This species is native to the Indonesia. In the aquarium they often will find a cave or area in the rock that they prefer to hang out in but will also come out in the open. They are generally easy to pair up when adding two of them to the aquarium at the same time or a small group. These are sure to add bright color to your aquarium and are very hardy and great beginner fish.
Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish. Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are trained to eat small pellets such as PE pellets, TDO pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more.
Size: ~0.5-1 inches. They will reach up to 1.5+ inches with maturity.
These can be kept singly, paired and are often successfully kept in a small group when added to the aquarium at the same time. They are generally a peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses. These fish are very hardy.
