Special-Electric Blue Hermit Crab

This is for a single Electric Blue Hermit crab-Calcinus elegans.

These are a larger and more stocky than other hermit crab species such as our Blue Leg hermit crabs. They have beautiful bright color and are very nice. They are approximately 3/4-1.5 inches. These are great scavengers. They are known for eating hair algae as well as cyanobacteria. They will eat leftover food and graze on algae in the aquarium. In a 30 gallon aquarium we recommend ~1-10+of these hermit crabs to give you a general stocking idea.
