Aquarium Conditioned-Tangaroa Shrimp Goby

Aquarium Conditioned-Tangaroa Shrimp Goby, Ctenogobiops tangaroai.

Size: ~1-2 inches. They will reach up to 2-2.5 inches with maturity.

We are excited to offer Tangaroa Shrimp Gobies. These gobies are translucent with orange flake markings. Their high fin also makes them eye catching. This species is native to the Pacific. In the aquarium they will usually stay on the sand-bed and often will form a symbiotic relationship with pistol shrimp. These are sure to add personality to your aquarium and are very hardy and great beginner fish. They are peaceful and often easy to pair up when two individuals are added to the aquarium at the same time. 

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are trained to eat small pellets such as PE pellets, TDO pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more. 

We recommend housing only one or a pair of this species in the same tank. They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses. These fish are very hardy.
