Aquarium Conditioned-Hector's Goby

Aquarium Conditioned-Hector's Goby, Koumansetta hectori.

We are excited to offer Hector's Gobies. This goby species grazes on algae and will also sift the sand. This slender goby species has a dark base color with yellow horizontal stripes. Hector's gobies are native to the Pacific and are very peaceful fish. We recommend housing only one individual of this species in the aquarium as they can be aggressive towards their own species. These are sure to add personality to your aquarium and are hardy fish. 

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are trained to eat small pellets such as PE pellets, TDO pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more. 

Size: ~1-2 inches. They will reach up to ~2 inches with maturity.

They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses.
