Aquarium Conditioned-Golden Foxface Rabbitfish

Aquarium Conditioned-Golden Foxface, Siganus puelloides.

Size: ~3.5-4+ inches. This species can reach up to ~8-9+ inches with maturity.

We are excited to offer Golden Foxfaces also known as the Blackeye Rabbitfish. They are beautiful and originate from Maldives! This is a great algae grazer to help keep nuisance algae in check in the aquarium. This species is known for its vivid colors and is a great addition to a larger reef aquarium.

We are feeding them a variety of prepared foods including frozen Mysis shrimp, Nori, frozen Calanus, LRS frozen nano blend, and a variety of other foods at our farm.

**Special Note: These do have Venomous spines on their dorsal fin and should not be handled.

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

This is a great species for our customers not keeping seahorses. This species is considered reef safe meaning they generally do not pick at corals and invertebrates. We recommend a large aquarium for them such as a 125 gallon or larger.
