Blue Goddess Encrusting Sponge

This is for a Blue Goddess Encrusting Sponge, Dysidea etheria. These are gorgeous! Very limited.

Size: ~3-5+ inches

This sponge variety is less commonly available and really unique. It is often found in the Gulf of Mexico and other ranges throughout the Caribbean. We recommend moderate to higher water flow with sponges. Colors and shapes vary, they are beautiful. These are sure to add unique color to your aquarium! It is best to place them in an area algae will not grow on them with plenty of water flow.

Sponges are filter feeders, and non photosynthetic. We do not recommend exposing them to air! When you receive sponges from our farm we pack them in water with no air pocket. We recommend opening the bag underwater in your aquarium to release the sponge to avoid air exposure.  

Sponges are safe to keep with our captive bred seahorses.
