Aquarium Conditioned-Blue Eye Bristletooth Tang

Aquarium Conditioned-Blue Eye Bristletooth Tang, Ctenocheatus binotatus. 

Size: ~2.5-3+ inches. They will reach up to ~4-5+ inches with maturity. Sizes and colors vary.

We are excited to offer Blue Eye Bristletooth tangs. They are beautiful and also commonly known as the two spot tang. This is a great species if you are looking for something very unique and different. This is a peaceful tang species and also a great algae grazer to help keep nusaince algae in check in the aquarium. They are beautiful with their bright orange markings on their fins. We are feeding them a variety of prepared foods including frozen Mysis shrimp, Nori, frozen Calanus, LRS frozen nano blend, and a variety of other foods at our farm.

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses. There is a possibility of them nipping at corals. Keeping them well fed lessens the likelihood of them nipping on corals. Of course, keep an eye on them. We recommend a large aquarium for them such as a 70 gallon or larger.
