Aquarium Conditioned-Black Clown Goby

Aquarium Conditioned-Black Clown Goby, Gobiodon echincocephalus.

We are excited to offer Black Clown Gobies. This is a small species of goby reaching approximately 1-1.5 inches with maturity. As the common name indicates this species is often black or dark in color but they can also be a lighter gray/translucent color. This species can actually shift or change color a bit with surroundings. This species is native to the Pacific. In the aquarium they often perch on the rocks, corals, and substrate. Black clown gobies are very peaceful fish are typically fine when kept individually or in groups or mixed with other clown goby species. These are sure to add personality to your aquarium and are very hardy and great beginner fish. 

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are trained to eat small pellets such as PE pellets, TDO pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more. 

Size: ~1 inches. They will reach up to 1-1.5 inches with maturity.

They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses or are really neat in a species nano tank! These fish are very hardy.
