Captive Bred Yasha High Fin Shrimp Goby (Proaqutix)
Captive Bred-Yasha High Fin Shrimp goby, Stonogobiops yasha by Proaquatix Farm.
Size: ~1.5-2 inches. They will reach up to 2-3.5 inches with maturity.
We are excited to offer Yasha High Fin Shrimp Gobies. These are a small brightly colored bottom dwelling shrimp goby species. This species is native to the Pacific. In the aquarium they will usually stay on the sand-bed and often will form a symbiotic relationship with pistol shrimp. They are generally easy to pair up when adding two of them to the aquarium at the same time. These are sure to add personality to your aquarium and are very hardy and great beginner fish.
These are U.S. captive bred and held at our farm before being shipped out. We are feeding them a mix of TDO pellets (available on our website, TDO XS), PE Mysis pellets, and a mix of frozen foods including Mysis shrimp. Given proper conditions, clownfish are one of the hardiest saltwater fish to keep in aquariums.
We recommend housing only one or a pair of this species in the same tank. They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses. These fish are very hardy. We recommend a 15 gallon or larger aquarium for a single or pair of this species.
