Captive Bred-Neon Goby

Captive Bred Neon Goby, Elacatinus oceanops

We are really excited to offer captive bred Neon gobies. These gobies are 100% aquacultured and trained to eat small pellets such as PE pellets, TDO pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more. The Neon goby is one of the most recognizable and popular of the cleaner gobies. This species is native to Florida and the Caribbean. In their natural environment these cleaner gobies eat parasites off of larger fish.

Size: ~1-1.5 inches. They will reach up to ~1.5-2 inch with maturity.

Cleaner gobies can be kept singly, paired, or in groups. There are many species and they do well when mixed too. They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our larger species of captive bred seahorses. These fish are hardy. Having a sand bed is recommended as they are bottom species. They can also be jumpy, keep aquarium covered! They also a great nano tank species since they stay very little.
