Aquarium Conditioned-Whitetail Yellow Eye Bristletooth Tang, Ctenocheatus flavicauda. 

Size: ~3-4 inches. They will reach up to ~4-5+ inches with maturity.

We are excited to offer Whitetail Yellow Eye Bristletooth tangs. They are beautiful. This is a great species if you are looking for something very unique and different. They are relevatively new in the aquairum hobby. This is a peaceful tang species and also a great algae grazer to help keep nusaince algae in check in the aquarium. They are beautiful with their yellow eyes, unique markings on their body and bright white tails. We are feeding them a variety of prepared foods including frozen Mysis shrimp, Nori, frozen Calanus, LRS frozen nano blend, and a variety of other foods at our farm.

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses. There is a possibility of them nipping at corals. Keeping them well fed lessens the likelihood of them nipping on corals. Of course, keep an eye on them. We recommend a large aquarium for them such as a 90 gallon or larger.
