Aquarium Conditioned-Tassled Filefish

Aquarium Conditioned Tassle Filefish-Chaetodermis penicilligerus. WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) means you will receive the exact fish in the photo.

Size: ~2.5-3 inches. They will reach up to 3-6+ inches with maturity.

Tassled filefish are a unique fish species of filefish. These filefish have interesting tasseled appearance to them which makes them quite unique and sure to add personality to the aquarium. These filefish will eat small pellets such as PE pellets, TDO pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more. We recommend feeding them often such as 2-3 times daily. 

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

We recommend housing this species singly. This is a great species for our customers not keeping seahorses. They are not considered reef safe. It is best to make sure they are also well fed to also help reduce risk of them nipping at other tank mates.
