Aquarium Conditioned-Marine Betta

Aquarium Conditioned-Marine Betta, Calloplesiops altivelis.

Size: ~3-3.5 inches (large size), will reach up to ~4-6 inches with maturity.

We are excited to offer Marine Bettas. These are striking! Certainly eye-catching with their bold coloration and white spots. This is definitely a showy fish with lots of personality. These are a peaceful species. We recommend a larger display tank such as a 50 gallon or more size aquarium for this species. They need a good bit of liverock with hiding spots. We are feeding them a variety of frozen Mysis shrimp, frozen Calanus, LRS frozen nano blend and a variety of other foods at our farm. They are eating, active and doing well.

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

We recommend housing this species singly, paired or as a trio. They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our larger species of captive bred seahorses.
