Special-Aquarium Conditioned-Flametail Blenny

This is for a single Aquarium Conditioned-Flametail Blenny, Enchelyurus flavipes.

Size: ~1-1.5+ inches. They will reach up to 2-3+ inches with maturity.

We are excited to offer Flametail blennies. This species has a dark body with a bright yellow tail. These blennies are omnivores making them great algae eaters and they will also readily take frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more. They have a ton of personality! This is a very popular tank mate, especially for beginners. We recommend a 30 gallon minimum aquarium size for this species. 

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

We recommend housing them individually. They are generally peaceful but can show aggression towards other blennies or gobies with similar body shapes. They are peaceful fish and are very hardy. It is best to have a cover on your aquarium as they can be jumpy! We recommend having sand in your aquarium for them (not a bare bottom aquarium).
