Multicolor Halloween Urchin

This is for a Blue Tuxedo Urchin, Tripneustes gratilla. Great Algae Eaters.

Size: ~1-2+ inches.

These urchins are great for eating undesirable algae off the rock and glass in the aquarium. We recommend a 10 gallon or larger aquarium for these algae eaters. Colors and patterns vary. As this species matures it tends to get some orange tinted spines hense the "Halloween" urchin common name. Younger smaller specimens usually do not have orange spines.

This variety has thin spines and are sharp making them not safe to keep with our seahorses.
