Marginella Snail

These hardy snails are great for eating leftover meaty food such as Mysis shrimp in the aquarium. Marginella snails are great clean up crew in an aquarium and we highly recommend them. These small Caribbean native snails hide in the sand-bed and come out when they smell food. They are very similar to Nassarius snails in their size and behavior in the aquarium. We recommend 1-5 of these snails per gallon in the aquarium to give you a general stocking idea.  This species does best in an aquairum with a sand-bed. Their smooth shell is pretty and they are a less commonly available snail for the aquairum.

Reef Safe: These snails are peaceful invertebrates and considered reef safe meaning they are not known for harming other inverts, corals or fish in the aquarium.
