SPECIAL Aquarium Conditioned-Caribbean Flame Cardinal Fish

This is for a single Aquarium Conditioned Flame Cardinalfish, Apogonichthyoides maculatus

We are excited to offer Flame Cardinalfish. These beautiful red fish are trained to eat small pellets such as PE pellets, TDO pellets, frozen Mysis shrimp, Calanus, and more. They often hang-out in a group in the aquarium but can be kept singly or paired. They are very active eaters and very hardy fish. They are native to the Caribbean. 

Size: ~1-2.5 inches. They will reach up to 3-3.5 inches with maturity. Sizes vary.

They can be housed individually, as pair or even better, in a group of 3-5+ individuals. They are peaceful fish and friendly to keep with our captive bred seahorses. They are mouth brooders and may even produce fry in your aquarium when they mature.

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.
