NEW ARRIVAL Red Thorny Starfish (NICE)-Reef Safe

This is for a single Red Thorny Starfish, Echinaster echinophorus.

Size: ~2.5-4+ inches, size varies. 

These are colorful and beautiful. This is a less commonly available variety of starfish. They typically reside in the sand-bed and on the rocks. These graze on biofilms, detritus and other micro-organisms. An established aquarium is a must.  In a 30 gallon aquarium we recommend 1 of this starfish to give you a general stocking idea, a larger aquarium is even better. They are safe to keep with our captive bred seahorses and really neat looking! Colors and patterns vary.
