NEW ARRIVAL Key Lime Giraffe Serpent Starfish

This is for a single Key Lime Giraffe Serpent Starfish, Ophioderma sp.

These hardy starfish are great for eating leftover food in the aquarium. This color variety is less common and really unique! The Key Lime sepent starfish is the same species as our Giraffe Print and Colored Giraffe serpent starfish, just a green variant. The green coloration can be lime to darker green in coloration, individuals vary. Some individuals have leg bands and others are more solid in coloration. They are gorgeous!

They typically reside in the sandbed under the rocks and come out during feeding time. These are great scavengers. In a 30 gallon aquarium we recommend 1-3 serpent starfish to give you a general stocking idea. They are safe to keep with our captive bred seahorses and pretty neat looking! Colors and patterns vary.

**These are not the same green serpent stars that are known to be fish eaters. These are completely reef safe, fish safe, and seahorse safe***
