Aquarium Conditioned- Rock Beauty Angelfish (Large Show Size)

Aquarium Conditioned-Rock Beauty Angel, Holacanthus tricolor.

Size: ~4-5+ inches. They will reach up to ~6-7.5+ inches with maturity.

We are excited to offer Rock Beauty Angelfish. The Rock Beauty Angelfish is a unique angelfish from the Caribbean with bold yellow coloration. With this bright coloration and often bold personality it is sure to stand out in the aquairum. This is a less commonly available species. We are feeding them a variety of prepared foods including frozen Mysis shrimp, frozen Calanus, LRS frozen nano blend, Nori, and a variety of other foods at our farm. They will also graze on algae in the aquarium. 

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

We recommend housing this species singly or as a bonded pair. If you want to keep them as a pair we recommend adding two individuals at the same time. They are a somewhat peaceful fish and may be okay to keep with our larger species of seahorses while they are small and young. Once they mature they will need to be separated as the angelfish can get somewhat large and territorial. There is a possibility of them nipping at corals. Keeping them well fed lessens the likelihood of them nipping on corals. Of course, keep an eye on them. We recommend a 75 gallon or larger aquarium size for this species.
